Privacy Policy

Last updated: [Month DD, YYYY]
Notice. First draft, not legal advice. Have an attorney tailor it to the states and countries where your customers are. If you knowingly collect data from EU/UK residents, additional obligations (GDPR/UK GDPR) apply beyond the US framework below.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how EDXAD LLC (Delaware File Number 3503122), operating the OuiSite service, 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, DE 19901, USA (“OuiSite,” “we,” “us”), collects and uses personal information. Contact: support@ouisite.com.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, under contract and for the purposes above — including Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies: a cookie that supports our affiliate referral program (so referrals are attributed correctly) and cookies required for the basic operation and security of the site. Because these cookies are necessary to provide the service, we display a short notice with an “OK” acknowledgement rather than a consent choice. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will ask for your prior consent.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. We retain billing, transaction, and tax records for up to seven (7) years to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your US privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws in other states), you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; access or delete your information; correct inaccuracies; and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share your personal information. To exercise any right, email support@ouisite.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. EU/UK visitors (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA or the UK, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. The legal bases we rely on include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations. Because we are based in the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country; by using the Services, you understand that this transfer takes place. To exercise any right, email support@ouisite.com.

10. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here, with an updated “Last updated” date.
